Dr. John
Our founder, Dr John obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science in San Antonio, Texas launching a career in dental treatment for over 34 years and counting. He started his career at age 24. He finds fulfillment is helping his patients daily with his extensive experience and passionate care. Working alongside his son, Dr Clay brings extensive joy to the family practice.
Outside of dentistry, you can be sure Dr John stays busy. He enjoys the outdoors in farming, ranching, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Dr. John and Sandra have two sons, Dr Cory and Dr Clay. Family events and gatherings keep the family bond strong and committed to passing on compassionate care to others.
Dr. Clay
Clayton Moczygemba DDS
Dr. Clay was born and raised in New Braunfels; He graduated from Canyon High School in 2013 before attending The University of Texas A&M, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2017. Following undergraduate school, Dr. Clay attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry in the Houston Medical Center, graduating in 2021. Dr. Clay followed his dad’s footsteps in dentistry and practices alongside him today. Dr. Clay is a member of the Texas Dental Association, The American Dental Association, and the River
City Dental Society.
When Dr. Clay is not at the office, you might find him on the golf course or fishing on the lake. He also loves hunting with his dog, Daisy. Dr. Clay is a father to two boys, Brooks and Nolan. He is married to Callie Moczygemba OB-GYN. Together, they enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their little family and extended families.
Sandra Office Manager and Family Support
Sandra is the wife of Dr John for over 36 years. Transitioning from a teaching career, Sandra joined the practice as office manager in 2011 and took on the challenge of learning how dental insurance works. Helping you use your “Dental Benefits” is a top priority for our front office team. We strive to answer all your insurance questions to get the most out of your dental benefits.
Away from the office, you will find John and Sandra traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and of course spoiling 3 handsome and active grandsons.
Lacie Registered Dental Hygienist
Lacie is one of three hygienists in our office. Lacie is a 2014 graduate of Concorde Career College Dental Hygiene Program in San Antonio. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, Lacie was a registered dental assistant for three years. Her expertise in the dental field is evident in her room. She strives to make your visit to our office as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Lacie is a native of New Braunfels. In her spare time, Lacie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They travel together, play together, and enjoy family adventures together.
Erica Registered Dental Hygienist
Erica earned her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Coastal Bend College in 2025 and has her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Texas Woman’s University. She started her dental career as an assistant in 2013. Erica is compassionate and detailed oriented. Erica is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment for her patients and addressing their individual oral health needs.
Erica was born and raised in New Braunfels and went to New Braunfels High School. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and taking care of her plants. She adores her golden doodle, Otis and mini poodle, Tullie.
Crystal Registered Dental Hygienist
Crystal earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, graduating with honors as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, Crystal was a registered dental assistant for thirteen years. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their healthiest smile!
Crystal is a New Braunfels native. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Together, they enjoy baking, playing soccer, and spending time with family.
Megan, Dental Hygienist
Megan earned her Associate in Dental Hygiene from Concorde Career College in 2020 and has been in the dental field since 2016. Megan joined our team in 2020 and fits right in. She has a genuine interest in helping each patient achieve their optimal oral health. Megan prides herself in making patients feel comfortable during their regular dental visits and designing home care strategies to help improve their dental health between professional cleanings.
Megan is a Texas native; she was born in Yoakum, Texas, and graduated from Katy High School. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Julissa, Dental Assistant
Julissa is our second dental assistant. She has been assisting since 2009. Julissa has experience in multiple dental fields, including Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and General Dentistry. Julissa brings a smile to our patients by helping them feel better about their own smiles. Her high energy and motivation are greatly appreciated by all around her.
Nancy Registered Dental Assistant
Nancy is one of two dental assistants in the office. She has extensive experience in patient care, sterilization, and inventory management. Nancy is highly motivated and detail-oriented and keeps our lab organized and running smoothly.
In Nancy’s spare time, she enjoys sewing and crafting. She amazes us with her creations. Nancy is active in her church and enjoys caring for her nieces and nephews whenever she gets the chance.
Eryn, Receptionist
Eryn is one of the first smiles you will see when you enter our office. Eryn answers the phones, schedules patients, and files all our insurance claims. Prior to front office duties, Eryn assisted Dr. John in dental procedures. On occasion, she will assist in the clinical setting.
In Eryn’s free time, she loves to spend time with her family and children.
Daniela, Receptionist
Daniela is the newest member of our front office team. She stays on top of our unpaid insurance claims to make sure our patients are maximizing all their dental benefits. Daniela fills appointments to keep our days busy and works to assist the front desk in many different ways.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Linda, Receptionist
Linda will greet and check you in when you visit us. She verifies insurance benefits for our team. Linda helps answer the phones when necessary and just about anything else that needs to be done.
Linda is the office baker. A birthday never goes by without a cake from her. She has taught all her grandchildren how to bake. She loves to bake and she enjoys being with all her grandkids.
